St. Cuby's Well, Cornwall
The best thing about the old wells is that they're uncommonly difficult to find. When you finally do locate them it is like you've made a discovery that has been waiting for you just outside of the normal dimensions you operate in. Cuby's Well is a spring. The spring has been venerated since the first prehistoric people found it. The small cell, or chapel, was built in the early Christian era, probably around the 7th or 8th Century AD. Two mediation pews of stone are just within the first doorway. The
spring bubbles up from the further chamber and flows out flooding the ground before it.
